Four pieces measuring 6 x 4 inches each. Acrylic on wood panel. Signed on the Verso. These are sold as a four-piece ensemble.
Various tones and hues of paint are spread randomly as a first layer. A thick, unifying top coat is applied to obliterate arbitrary areas, allowing fragments of color to show through. Different tools are then used to scratch the still wet surface to create a sharp contrast to the organic shapes of color.
