CRAIG McCORD is an art director, designer, director, editor, photographer and kind of a writer.
When he was six years old he was given a pony he named Billy. He has not ridden a horse since 1967.
Craig was introduced to graphic design by his high school art teacher. It was here that typefaces, X-acto knives, rubber cement and 'conceptual thinking' entered his consciousness.
So he was in the ad biz for over fifteen years.
And then one day he was asked if he would like to become a commercial director. And so for the next ten years he directed television commercials. He worked in categories that included airlines, banking, telecommunications, transportation, retail and, yes, kids and dogs.
It was on one of these commercials that he met Staci Strauss, his wife, partner, and best friend.
Then they moved to New York City.
This is where their website, The People Who Feed Us was born. The purpose for this site is to salute the dedicated farmers, growers, fisher-people, chefs, cheesemongers, chocolate-makers, (the list goes on), for their hard work and dedication.
They live in Woodstock, New York with their dog, LuLu.
